Band Managers: Mentoring Geniuses? or Blood Sucking Know-it-alls?

I recently had a lovely conversation with a dear friend who managed bands in Tempe, AZ back in the day (Yoko Love, Truckers on Speed, to name a few). She reminisced about all the frustration and satisfaction that came along with a Band Manager title. It got me thinking.....
